Welcome to My Good Dog!

This site is for all dog lovers, or owners who want to love their dog!

Dogs aren’t perfect, and they sure don’t come ready to know how to act in our human dominated world. But the wonderful thing about these animals is that they have developed a bond with humans. They are eager to please and they crave companionship. And boy do they have a LOT OF LOVE to give!

No matter what is going on to disrupt the harmony in your relationship with your dog, there is a pretty good chance that it can be fixed!

Many of the annoying things that dogs do are their natural behaviors – that we just happen to not like. If we just treat them with compassion, we can teach them our expectations. Your dog wants to be a Good Dog! If you invest some time in to building a clear relationship and learning how to communicate with them, it will be a strong foundation to many years of great memories.

Adventure is Waiting

When you have a dog that doesn’t know how to behave in public, it can be quite embarrassing! So the easiest thing to do is not take your dog in public, right?

That may be the case, but you will miss out on some fun moments with your pal! Plus, it will actually make the problems worse! Since your dog will not get the opportunity to learn how to act in public, they will continue to be a handful when you have to take them out.

Instead, it is possible to teach your dog how you expect them to behave and be able to enjoy having them in your life!

Dog Training

Life is busy, who has time for dog training?

But there is a whole mess of possible problems that could happen if you don’t start training now. They will take more time to fix and you will still have to invest the time into dog training. But by this point, you will probably both be frustrated.

When things go wrong, there is typically some collateral damage in the form of expenses – replacing doors, couches, carpet, expensive vet visits.

If you don’t want to invest the time for your dog, at least do it for your own sanity. They can be your best friend or a big headache.

Take the time now to establish a happy relationship. Whether this is a new dog or an old dog – it is not too late!
